IPS Y Puran Kumar Suicide: Serious Allegations Against 10 Officers in 8 Page Suicide Note

The suicide of senior Haryana cadre IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar has sent shockwaves throughout the police department. An eight-page suicide note was recovered from the officer, who shot himself at his home in Chandigarh, in which he leveled serious allegations against ten senior Haryana police officers. These include the former DGP, the current DGP, ADGPs, and SP-level officers. From the information that has come out so far, it is clear that this case is not just a suicide, but tells a bigger story of the internal conflicts and pressures of the Haryana Police system.
