India vision 2047: Income Survey Vital for Better Policy Planning, Says Dr. Saurabh Garg

He noted that India has also initiated such surveys and has received a substantial number of responses from participants across the country. Addressing concerns about privacy, he assured that income-related information remains highly confidential and is handled with strict safeguards. The collected data is used only for statistical and policy purposes and is not disclosed publicly at an individual level.
