Fuel Price Hike: Petrol and Diesel Become Costlier Across India

Fuel prices have increased across the country, giving another inflation shock to consumers. Petrol has become costlier by ₹3 per litre, while diesel prices have increased by ₹3.11 per litre. In Delhi, petrol now costs ₹97.70 per litre compared to the earlier ₹94.70, while diesel prices have risen from ₹87.67 to ₹90.67 per litre. CNG prices have also gone up by ₹2 per kilogram in Delhi. The latest hike comes after rising prices of gold and milk, adding further pressure on household expenses. Fuel prices have also increased in other major cities, including Kolkata, where petrol has reached ₹108.74 per litre and diesel ₹95.13 per litre. Consumers across the country will now have to spend more on transportation and daily travel as the revised fuel rates come into effect from today.
