A major fire broke out in a four-storey building in Vivek Vihar, resulting in the death of three people and triggering a large-scale rescue operation. The incident caused panic in the area as flames quickly engulfed the building. According to officials, the fire broke out in the early hours, reportedly due to a suspected electrical fault in an air conditioning unit. Fire services rushed to the spot, deploying around 14 fire tenders to control the blaze. So far, 14 people have been rescued from the building, while search and cooling operations are still underway. Authorities confirmed that three bodies have been recovered, and the exact cause and full extent of damage are still being investigated. Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos, with people shouting for help as smoke spread rapidly through the structure. Firefighters continue efforts to completely douse the flames and ensure no one else is trapped inside the building.
