Navarone Garibaldi Garcia defends himself for starting a funding link for his restaurant idea

Navarone Garibaldi Garcia recently went viral after he posted a funding link stating that he needed to raise money to start his own pizza chain from his LA home. However, the post was met with quite a lot of backlash. Following the incident, Garcia took to his Instagram account and defended himself, posting that, “Haters gonna hate. I’m sure I’ll have to explain this many more times to ignorant people who think I should ‘ask my mom’ or that I have money….. YEAH, I also have a lot of bills, I also have a budget, I also donate to other causes.”He further added in his post that, “I also give to the homeless… I just don’t film and put it on YouTube… but, I also have crazy ADD and try to do lots of things… if I just went all in every time I thought I had a great idea… I’d be broke in 2 days. I’m not asking anything to donate that can’t afford to, I’m offering free pizza to people that donate… and I’m putting in a lot of my own money to buy this oven. Just asking for help on the remaining bit that’s out of my budget. That’s all. Love and Peace, Kindness and pizza. The link is in all my stories if you want to help out.”Navarone Garibaldi Garcia is Priscilla Presley’s son from her second marriage with music producer Marco Garibaldi.

On Friday, Garcia had shared a video appeal along with the link to a funding page. He said, “We’re getting a pizza place! We’re getting a pizza oven!” while sharing that he wishes to start a new pizza brand and run it from the driveway of his LA home.On the funding page, he further explained the idea he had behind his own pizza chain. He shared that, “I have always wanted to start my own business, but marketing and advertising always get in my way. As well as having the whole brick and mortar shop to add another expense.”He declared that he had around USD 3,000 saved for the project and required some more money. He added, “Now I would like to make and serve affordable organic pizza for my community and sell it from my driveway to the large foot traffic in my neighborhood. I have found a large industrial pizza oven and negotiated it from $14,000 down to $8,500.”The funding page had a goal of USD 5,500 set up. Go to Source
