Heavy monsoon rain has triggered widespread disruption across Delhi-NCR and several parts of North India. In Delhi, areas including Sardar Patel Marg, Teen Murti, Nehru Place, ITO, Barapullah and Patparganj witnessed hours-long traffic jams, while Sangam Vihar faced severe waterlogging that left vehicles stranded and pedestrians struggling. In Gurugram, heavy rain flooded the Signature Tower service lane, Sector 15 and the bus stand underpass, slowing traffic across the city. Noida and Greater Noida also experienced major waterlogging and traffic congestion, while part of a ceiling collapsed at Gaur City One, narrowly missing a child. In Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, a building linked to a four-lane construction project collapsed, raising concerns over construction quality and nearby residential safety. Mussoorie saw another rupture in the ₹144-crore Yamuna drinking-water pipeline, causing water wastage and road damage. In Agra, a passenger-filled tempo fell into a deep, water-filled road excavation, while Yamunanagar faced rising water levels in the Pathrala River, prompting alerts in low-lying areas.
