CJI Gavai Recommends Justice Surya Kant As His Successor, To Take Oath On Nov 24

Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai has recommended Justice Surya Kant’s name as his successor. Recently, the Law Ministry had sought Justice Gavai’s recommendation for the next Chief Justice. Justice Gavai is set to retire on November 23, and Justice Kant will take charge on November 24.
