Connor Murphy, the American fitness influencer known online for “looksmaxxing” content, was found dead in Thailand after a series of events that police say began at his rental home in Samut Prakan province, south of Bangkok. New images released by Asia Pacific Press have revealed the condition of the apartment authorities entered after the incident. The photographs show large piles of trash, empty medication packets, plastic bottles and stains on several walls. Murphy reportedly ran from police before entering a nearby lake, where he later drowned. Authorities are still waiting for the results of a full autopsy and toxicology examination, and the exact circumstances leading up to his death remain under investigation.

According to images obtained by Asia Pacific Press, Murphy’s rental home was found in a heavily damaged condition. Several rooms contained overflowing garbage bags, food containers, bottles and other discarded items. Photos also showed dark residue around the kitchen sink and marks on walls near framed artwork. Medication packets were visible in some of the images. Among them were packets of Stablon, a prescription antidepressant used in some countries to treat depression and anxiety. However, authorities have not said whether Murphy was taking the medication. Reports noted that the drug is available in Thailand through medical evaluation but is not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration.Other items seen in the apartment included packaged insulin syringes, a used bandage and loose pills stored inside a plastic bag. The images also showed packets of Falim gum, a product that has gained popularity among some online “looksmaxxing” communities.Police Lieutenant Colonel Santirat Ngernman told reporters that Murphy had been living in Thailand while working remotely and selling fitness supplements. Investigators have not linked any of the items found in the apartment to the cause of his death.

Police said neighbors contacted authorities during the early hours of Tuesday after hearing loud screaming from Murphy’s home. Witnesses reported that he appeared distressed before suddenly leaving the property.According to police, Murphy later encountered officers but became agitated and refused to cooperate. Santirat Ngernman said Murphy then ran toward a nearby golf course, removed his clothing and jumped into a lake.“He then suddenly jumped into the lake and started swimming. He swam around for some time before sinking,” Ngernman told reporters.Witnesses reportedly saw Murphy struggling in the water before disappearing beneath the surface. Divers were called to the scene and launched a search operation. His body was recovered from the middle of the lake around 30 minutes after the search began.Authorities believe severe leg cramps may have contributed to the drowning, though officials are still awaiting final medical findings. Police also said they had never previously encountered similar behavior from Murphy and have not determined what caused the incident.Murphy’s girlfriend, identified in reports only as Bee, told police she had been in another room when the damage inside the apartment allegedly occurred. She reportedly said she had never seen him behave that way before during their three-year relationship.His last YouTube video was uploaded on July 1.
