A tense situation unfolded in Delhi’s Vasant Vihar when a shelter home was engulfed by a sudden fire on Tuesday midnight at around 3:15 am. The fire was so massive that it gave no time for escape, resulting in the deaths of two people, one of them a 20-year-old boy, while the other body has not yet been identified. According to reports, six people managed to escape from the fire. It was also mentioned that when the fire guts in shelter home, two carts nearby were also gutted. Locals said that the 20-year-old’s father works in Sulabh toilets and the family is very poor. The boy had lost his mother when he was eight years old, and since then, all responsibilities were taken on by his father. Officials said that the exact cause of the fire has not been confirmed yet, and further investigation is underway to determine the cause.
