Breaking: Technical Glitch Traps 18 on Ferris Wheel in Kolhapur; All Safely Rescued by Fire Brigade

In a major incident reported from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, around 18 people were trapped on a Ferris wheel after it suddenly stopped due to a technical malfunction. The incident occurred at a local fair, creating panic among visitors as the ride came to a halt mid-air. According to initial reports, the Ferris wheel developed a mechanical fault, leaving passengers stranded for several minutes.Upon receiving the alert, the Kolhapur Fire Brigade and local rescue teams swiftly reached the site. A coordinated rescue operation was launched, and all individuals trapped on the ride were safely evacuated without any injuries. Officials confirmed that the situation is now under control, and the ride has been temporarily shut down for inspection and maintenance.Visuals from the scene showed emergency personnel using ladders and harnesses to reach those stuck in the higher cabins of the wheel. Authorities have ordered an inquiry into the incident to determine whether negligence or lack of proper maintenance led to the malfunction.Eyewitnesses praised the quick response of the fire brigade, which prevented a potential tragedy.
