Breaking: RJD MLA Sparks Outrage After Slapping Labourer During Site Inspection in Bihar

A shocking incident from Bihar has triggered widespread criticism after RJD MLA Chandrashekhar Prasad Yadav was caught on camera slapping a poor labourer during an inspection of a drainage construction site in Madhepura. The MLA had arrived at Poonia Gola to review the ongoing work when the labourer approached him and made a phone call to his contractor in the MLA’s presence. This act reportedly angered the legislator, who immediately slapped the worker, leaving bystanders stunned. The video of the assault quickly spread across social media, prompting strong reactions from the public. Many citizens have condemned the MLA’s behaviour, calling it a clear misuse of power and an insult to those who work under challenging conditions. Opposition parties have also criticized the incident, demanding accountability and action against the MLA. Local residents say that the labourer had made the call simply to provide work-related clarity, not disrespect. However, the MLA’s sudden outburst has now become a major controversy for the newly formed government in Bihar. Police officials have acknowledged the incident and are reviewing the viral footage. Further action may be taken based on the inquiry. The incident highlights the growing concern over the mistreatment of workers and the misuse of authority by elected representatives.
