BREAKING: Rajya Sabha Adjourned Till Monday Amid Opposition Uproar, Lok Sabha Proceedings Continue

The Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned until Monday following intense opposition protests and disruptions during the ongoing Parliament session. The House resumed briefly after an earlier adjournment, with members placing various official documents and reports on the table as listed in the revised agenda. However, continued sloganeering and political disagreements created repeated disruptions, eventually leading to the decision to suspend proceedings until the next working day. During the session, several ministers and members presented documents related to their respective ministries and parliamentary committees, including reports and official papers listed in the revised business schedule. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat also informed the House that no recommendations were received from the Upper House regarding the Appropriation Bill. Meanwhile, proceedings in the Lok Sabha continued amid opposition protests, reflecting the broader political deadlock between the government and opposition parties. The ruling side reiterated that opposition parties cannot decide which minister will respond or participate in parliamentary discussions, maintaining that the government will follow established parliamentary procedures. The opposition, however, has continued raising demands on various issues and has disrupted proceedings as part of its protest strategy. The latest adjournment highlights the ongoing confrontation inside Parliament during the Monsoon Session, where repeated disruptions have affected normal legislative functioning. With both Houses witnessing heated exchanges and protests, attention now shifts to the next sitting scheduled for Monday, when lawmakers are expected to continue discussions on pending legislative business. The continuing standoff between the government and opposition has become a central feature of the current parliamentary session, with both sides maintaining their positions on debate procedures, ministerial responses, and key political issues.
