Breaking News: Nirmohi Akhara Seer Seeks Accountability as Ram Mandir Donation Probe Deepens

The investigation into the alleged Ram Mandir donation embezzlement case continues to gather momentum as investigators examine fresh evidence and question individuals linked to the controversy. According to sources, police are probing claims that concerns regarding the alleged diversion of donations first surfaced in late May, while investigators continue to scrutinize financial records, witness statements, and the alleged roles of those under investigation. Authorities have also questioned one of the accused in custody regarding the recovery of cash, the source of the funds, and the alleged mechanism behind the suspected theft. Officials are seeking to determine whether additional individuals were involved and whether the alleged activities occurred over an extended period. Meanwhile, the controversy has intensified politically, with leaders from the ruling party and the opposition exchanging allegations over the handling of the issue. Amid the ongoing probe, Nirmohi Akhara seer Mahant Sitaram Das, speaking in a television interview, demanded strict accountability and said that anyone found responsible, regardless of position, should face legal consequences. He also expressed confidence that the investigation would reach those ultimately responsible if supported by sufficient evidence. His remarks reflect his personal views and are not findings established by investigators or the courts. The police and the Special Investigation Team (SIT) have not announced any final conclusions regarding the culpability of individuals whose names have surfaced during the investigation. With the SIT continuing its inquiry, authorities maintain that all allegations remain under verification and that any future legal action will depend on evidence collected during the investigation. The final report is expected to provide greater clarity on the facts and determine whether further criminal or administrative proceedings are warranted.
