Breaking News: Nipah Virus Reportedly Detected in West Bengal After Kerala, Two Suspected Cases Create Alarm

In a worrying development, reports suggest that the Nipah virus, after cases in Kerala, has now been detected in West Bengal. According to preliminary information, two suspected cases have emerged in the North 24 Parganas district, causing panic among health authorities. The suspected patients are said to be two nurses working at a private hospital, who reportedly showed symptoms associated with the Nipah virus. Their condition is described as serious. It is also being claimed that both nurses had come into contact with nearly 120 people, raising concerns about possible further spread. Following this, the state health department and central agencies have been put on high alert. Officials are closely monitoring the situation and necessary preventive measures are being taken.
