Breaking News: Naravane Book Leak Case Deepens Political Clash

The controversy over former Army Chief General M.M. Naravane’s unpublished memoir has intensified political and legal tensions between the government and opposition. Rahul Gandhi raised issues in Parliament citing content allegedly from the unpublished book, triggering objections from ministers and the Speaker. The government argued that unpublished and unauthenticated material cannot be cited in Parliament, leading to repeated adjournments of the Lok Sabha. The issue escalated further after reports emerged that a PDF of the unpublished book was circulating online. Delhi Police registered an FIR to investigate the alleged leak and unauthorized circulation of the manuscript, which reportedly requires Ministry of Defence clearance before publication. Politically, BJP leaders have accused Rahul Gandhi of misleading Parliament and hurting institutional credibility, while the opposition claims the government is trying to suppress uncomfortable content related to national security matters. The controversy has now shifted from a political debate to a legal matter involving intellectual property, security clearance, and document authenticity. Meanwhile, parliamentary deadlock continues, with both sides sticking to their positions and repeated adjournments reflecting the ongoing confrontation.
