Ajit Pawar’s body is being prepared to be taken to Vidya Pratishthan, where arrangements are in progress. The cremation is scheduled for 11:00 AM. From Garima Hall, the final procession will begin. Ajit Pawar’s mortal remains will be placed on a specially decorated truck carrying his large portrait and slogans praising his legacy. The procession will move towards the VVIP ground at Vidya Pratishthan. Family members will accompany the mortal remains during the final journey. Baramati, and indeed all of Maharashtra, is witnessing an outpouring of grief. Ajit Pawar was widely respected as a disciplined and decisive leader, known for starting work early in the morning and standing firmly by his word. Supporters describe him as a pillar of Maharashtra politics. People from across the state, including his native village and districts like Latur and Satara, have arrived to take part in the final rites.
