The discussion is focused on strengthening the security framework for the upcoming NEET examination following recent concerns over paper leak incidents in previous years. Authorities are reportedly reviewing measures to make the examination process more secure and “foolproof” to ensure fairness for lakhs of students across the country. Sources indicate that the government is examining multiple layers of security protocols, including examination conduct, question paper handling, and monitoring systems. There are also discussions on involving additional security mechanisms and inter-agency coordination to prevent any breach in the examination process. The development comes after NEET-related controversies and the cancellation of a previous examination cycle, with a fresh exam schedule reportedly set for 21 June.
