The Tusha Sharma death case has intensified significantly after the High Court allowed a second postmortem, following concerns raised by the family about the earlier investigation. A five-member AIIMS medical team from Delhi has been sent to Bhopal to conduct the fresh postmortem, with strict preservation and video documentation ordered. Meanwhile, the investigation has taken a strong legal and police turn. The accused, Samarth, is in police custody in Bhopal, and is expected to be produced in court. Police are likely to seek 7-day remand for deeper interrogation, as they believe crucial facts still need to be uncovered. He was earlier on the run and was eventually detained after attempts to surrender. The case has also revealed new developments, including exclusive visuals from the crime scene (a ring where the body was found) and increasing scrutiny of the deceased’s in-laws, especially notices issued by the High Court in related proceedings. Police action has intensified with possibilities of crime scene recreation to reconstruct the sequence of events. The family continues to allege influence and pressure in the investigation, while authorities maintain that the probe is progressing through legal procedure.
