Breaking News: Firing Reported Outside Rohit Shetty’s Juhu Residence; Police, Crime Branch Probe Now

Late-night gunfire was reported outside the Mumbai residence of filmmaker and producer Rohit Shetty, triggering heightened security and an intensive investigation. According to initial information, unidentified assailants fired multiple rounds at the exterior wall of the building where Shetty resides in Juhu before fleeing the scene. No injuries have been reported so far, and the filmmaker was said to be safe at the time of the incident. Mumbai Police, along with the Crime Branch and forensic teams, reached the location shortly after the alert, secured the area, and collected ballistic evidence. CCTV footage from nearby streets and buildings is being examined to trace the attackers and reconstruct their escape route. Senior officials confirmed the firing and stated that patrols were intensified through the night as a precaution. Investigators are also assessing whether the incident bears similarities to recent targeted firing cases involving high-profile Bollywood personalities. Authorities have not disclosed a motive yet and are refraining from further details to avoid compromising the probe. The incident renews concerns over public figure safety in Mumbai as police promise tighter protection measures.
