CBI is intensifying its investigation into the NEET paper leak case and has taken major action involving the RCC Coaching Institute in Latur, Maharashtra. The institute’s owner, Shivraj Motegaonkar, has been detained for questioning. He is accused of being linked to the alleged mastermind P.V. Kulkarni, a chemistry professor already arrested in the case. According to sources, 42 questions from the coaching institute’s mock tests were reportedly found word-for-word in the actual NEET examination, raising serious suspicion of a possible leak. Shivraj Motegaonkar has been interrogated multiple times, and his institute has also been raided by CBI, which operates around 40 centers and trains thousands of students. Investigators claim digital and video evidence suggests coordination between the accused, including past connections between Kulkarni and the coaching owner. The probe also indicates that several doctors and their families in Latur are under scrutiny for alleged links and possible financial dealings related to the leak. The investigation is ongoing, with CBI expanding its network probe and summoning more suspects for questioning.
