BREAKING: NEET Paper Leak Accused Shubham Kherna Confesses to Possessing Leaked Question Paper

In a major development in the NEET paper leak investigation, accused Shubham Kherna has reportedly made key admissions during interrogation, according to officials involved in the probe. Sources claim that Kherna has confessed to possessing the leaked question paper, marking a significant breakthrough in the case that has triggered nationwide concern over examination security. Investigators allege that Shubham Kherna is a central figure in the paper leak network and is being treated as a possible mastermind. During questioning, he reportedly revealed a detailed sequence of events regarding how the leaked paper was accessed and transferred across multiple locations. As per preliminary inputs from the investigation, Kherna stated that he first obtained the paper from Ahilyanagar, after which he transported it to Pune and later reached Nashik, reportedly carrying the material with him by road. Officials say he reached Nashik a few days before the examination date, raising further suspicion about pre-planned coordination within the alleged network. The accused has also reportedly mentioned the involvement of an individual from Haryana, who is believed to have collected the leaked paper from his residence. Investigators are now focusing on tracing the financial transactions and communication links between the individuals involved to determine the scale of the operation. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently examining whether this was an isolated incident or part of a larger organized network involved in multiple examination leaks. Officials suspect that the group operated with a structured chain of contacts across different states, using intermediaries to circulate sensitive examination material. Authorities are now working to verify the authenticity of the confession and gather supporting digital and financial evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and officials have indicated that more arrests and revelations may follow as the probe expands.
