A major political development is unfolding in Maharashtra’s parliamentary landscape as fresh information indicates that Lok Sabha MP Omraje Nimbalkar has arrived in New Delhi aboard a private aircraft, intensifying speculation of a large-scale rebellion within the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction of Shiv Sena (UBT). According to emerging political inputs, Nimbalkar has now joined a group of MPs who are reportedly preparing to formally stake claim as a separate parliamentary bloc. The names being discussed in connection with the development include Sanjay Dina Patil, Sanjay Deshmukh, Nagesh Patil Ashtikar, Omraje Nimbalkar, Bhausaheb Wakchaure, and Sanjay Jadhav. Political circles suggest that these six parliamentarians are expected to meet the Lok Sabha Speaker in Delhi to present their claim as an independent group within Parliament. Sources tracking the developments indicate that after completing the parliamentary process, the group may move toward a merger with the Shiv Sena faction led by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. If the move materializes, it could significantly alter the political equations within the opposition camp and strengthen Shinde’s position at the national level. Meanwhile, discussions had also surfaced around the possible inclusion of MP Rajabhau Waje in the emerging group. However, reports indicate that Waje has conveyed his intention to remain with Uddhav Thackeray and has not endorsed any move toward separation. The situation remains fluid, with political observers closely monitoring developments in the national capital. Any formal submission before the Lok Sabha Speaker could mark the beginning of a new chapter in Maharashtra politics, carrying implications for both state and national political alignments in the months ahead.
