Breaking: Gujarat Gandhinagar Communal Tension Sparks Arson, Shops Torched; Administration On Alert!

In Gujarat’s Gandhinagar, communal tension erupted after a controversial social media post during Navratri, leading to arson, shops torched and violent street clashes. Images circulating show rioters setting alleys and businesses ablaze while emergency services battled dense flames late into the night. Witness photos captured the blaze rising sharply and firefighters struggling to douse the conflagration with water hoses. Authorities have imposed heightened security, deployed additional forces and remain on alert as investigations and arrests are being pursued. Elsewhere, CCTV in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, recorded a high-speed bike colliding with an elderly pedestrian, leaving the victim critically injured amid chaotic scenes and a fleeing rider. In Chhattisgarh, residents crossed a waterlogged bridge carrying schoolchildren on their shoulders, highlighting flood danger and desperate safety choices. Uttar Pradesh saw a lone protester climb a train engine at Lalitpur station, creating a risky standoff until railway staff and police coaxed him down. In Madhya Pradesh, villagers reported a goat theft involving suspects who arrived in a Scorpio. Across these incidents the common themes are unrest, sudden public danger and rapid emergency responses. Local leaders called for peace and community dialogue today and cooperation.
