The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has restored access to its revaluation and verification portal for Class 12 students after an unexpected delay that caused concern among candidates across the country. The portal, which was originally scheduled to go live at 10:00 AM, became operational nearly 19 hours later, allowing students to proceed with applications for answer sheet verification and re-evaluation. The development comes as a relief for thousands of students seeking a review of their examination results. Candidates who had previously downloaded scanned copies of their answer sheets during the designated window can now complete the next stage of the process through the online portal. The verification and re-evaluation mechanism is particularly important for students who believe there may be discrepancies in marking or who expect an improvement in their scores. While the portal is now functioning, some students have reported difficulties during the login process. According to feedback received from candidates, issues related to authentication and Aadhaar-based verification have emerged for a section of applicants. However, several students have successfully completed and submitted their forms, indicating that the system is operational for many users. CBSE has reassured students that the platform is active and efforts are underway to ensure a smooth experience throughout the application period. Education experts note that the re-evaluation process can play a crucial role in correcting potential errors and helping students secure marks that accurately reflect their performance. Students are advised to regularly monitor official CBSE notifications, complete their applications within the prescribed deadlines, and keep all required documents ready to avoid last-minute complications during the verification and re-evaluation process.
