Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Congress and Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public event in Assam. Reacting to the controversial remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Rahul Gandhi’s stage in Darbhanga, Shah accused Congress of engaging in “the most despicable politics.” He said the party has no issues to raise and has instead chosen a path of negative politics filled with hatred. Shah reminded that since Modi’s tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister, Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manishankar Aiyar, Digvijay Singh, Jairam Ramesh, and Renuka Chowdhury have repeatedly used derogatory language against him. “The more abuses you hurl at Modi ji, the bigger the lotus will bloom,” he remarked.During his visit, Shah also inaugurated the second National Cyber Forensic Laboratory (NCFL) in Guwahati, under the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C). The lab will serve all eight northeastern states, providing advanced capabilities in cybercrime investigation, including network forensics, mobile and disk forensics, dark web and malware analysis, and data recovery. Shah emphasized that the NCFL will protect citizens from cyber fraud, secure their hard-earned money, and aid in tackling narcotics trade, illegal trafficking, and border security threats.
