BMC Election 2026: Thackeray Cousins Uddhav-Raj Together at Balasaheb Memorial

A historic moment unfolded in Mumbai as Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray were seen together at the memorial of late Balasaheb Thackeray. After nearly two decades of political separation, the Thackeray cousins came together to pay floral tribute to Balasaheb, marking what many are calling a full circle in Maharashtra politics. Both leaders offered flowers, bowed their heads, and were seen sharing warm chemistry. Their wives and the next generation of the Thackeray family also participated in the tribute. Separated since 2006, Uddhav and Raj walking together once again underlines Balasaheb Thackeray’s enduring legacy as the unifying force of the family and Marathi politics. The visuals are being seen as politically and emotionally significant ahead of upcoming elections.
