A major controversy has erupted in Bihar’s capital Patna over the death of a NEET aspirant, with serious questions being raised on the role of the police and administration. Allegations of negligence continue to surface as ABP News has accessed the student’s 127-page medical report, which reportedly contains several findings that do not match the postmortem report. These contradictions have intensified doubts over the initial investigation and handling of the case. The matter has now taken a political turn, with the Congress party staging protests on the streets of Patna. Party workers are demanding justice for the student and accusing the administration of attempting to suppress the case. Congress leaders have questioned why an FIR was delayed despite the victim remaining hospitalized for three days, calling it a deliberate effort to protect criminals. Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru has strongly criticized the government and police, alleging that instead of ensuring justice, the system tried to shield crime, mafias, and guilty parties. He also questioned the formation of the SIT, claiming that officers already associated with the case were included, raising concerns about impartiality.
