Bihar Mob Fury: Enraged Locals Thrash neighbor Following Attempted Sexual Assault at Wedding House

A scene of absolute chaos and vigilante justice unfolded in Bihar after an enraged mob caught and brutally thrashed a man who allegedly attempted to sexually assault a woman inside her brother’s residence. The incident occurred during a wedding ceremony, where the accused, identified as a neighbor of the family, reportedly tried to take advantage of the festive bustle to target the victim. According to eyewitnesses and local reports, the predator’s audacity reached a terrifying peak when, upon being cornered by the crowd, he brandished a pistol and attempted to intimidate the gathering to facilitate his escape. However, the move backfired as the incensed crowd overpowered him, leading to a violent confrontation where the accused was severely beaten. Visuals from the spot show a massive gathering of locals venting their anger, while a heavily outnumbered police team struggled for hours to rescue the culprit from the clutches of the mob. The local police had to face significant resistance and put in strenuous efforts to safely escort the accused into custody, as the public demanded immediate and on-the-spot justice. The suspect is currently in police detention, and an investigation has been launched into both the attempted assault and the illegal possession of a firearm. This incident has once again highlighted the growing public frustration over the rising boldness of criminals in the state, with locals vowing to maintain pressure on the administration for the strictest possible legal action against the perpetrator.
