BIG BREAKING: Narendra Modi on Netherlands Visit, Strategic Talks With European Leaders Begin

Narendra Modi is currently on an important visit to the Netherlands aimed at strengthening India-Europe economic and strategic ties after the India-EU Free Trade developments. During the visit, India and the Netherlands signed 17 major agreements covering investment, semiconductors, technology, cybersecurity, clean energy, healthcare, agriculture, and education. Both countries also prepared a strategic partnership roadmap till 2030 to deepen cooperation in trade, security, and innovation. A major highlight of the visit was the return of the historic 11th-century Chola-era Anangamangalam copper plates to India by the Dutch government. These culturally significant copper inscriptions, written in Sanskrit and Tamil, were taken to the Netherlands during the colonial period. PM Modi described their return as a proud moment for every Indian. The visit also included meetings with Dutch leaders, CEOs, and the royal family. PM Modi is scheduled to visit a 32-km-long Dutch dam before leaving for a two-day visit to Sweden for further bilateral discussions with European leaders.
