From what has come out so far, the situation may have started with an argument outside the nightclub. Reports suggest that Carrington and Zakrzewska were involved in a heated exchange before the crash. A short while later, a black car drove toward the crowd. The video footage is difficult to watch. It shows Klaudia Zakrzewska being knocked down and trapped under the vehicle as people nearby rushed to help her. Two others were also injured. A man in his 50s, who was unlocking his e-scooter at the time, suffered serious injuries that police described as life-changing. A woman in her 30s had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.Emergency services arrived quickly after receiving calls about the crash. The injured were taken for medical care, while officers secured the area and began their investigation. Police have clearly stated that the incident is not being treated as terror-related.Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell from Specialist Crime South shared an update. She said, “As our enquiries continue, our thoughts are with those injured and their loved ones. While this incident took place in the early hours of the morning, venues in the area were still open, and we believe a number of people will have seen what happened.”She also added, “I would urge anyone who witnessed the collision, or any activity prior to it that they feel may be of relevance, to come forward. The information you have however small you believe it may be could be of crucial importance to investigators.”Carrington remains in police custody as the investigation continues. Meanwhile, the incident has raised serious concerns about safety outside busy nightlife spots in central London.
