Podcaster and YouTuber Trisha Paytas has once again publicly criticized beauty influencer James Charles after his recent TikTok rant about a woman who claimed she lost her job at Spirit Airlines. The video quickly sparked backlash online, and many social media users accused Charles of being harsh and insensitive. Although James Charles later deleted the video, the criticism did not stop there. During a recent episode of her podcast Just Trish, Trisha Paytas strongly reacted to the situation and reopened discussion about her long-running feud with the influencer. The conflict between Trisha Paytas and James Charles is not new. Their public fallout goes back several years and has involved accusations, online arguments, and emotional responses from both sides. This latest controversy has once again pushed their feud back into the spotlight, with many fans revisiting their past exchanges and questioning whether the relationship between the two creators can ever improve.

Trisha Paytas calls out James Charles after Spirit Airlines rant controversy

The tension between Trisha Paytas and James Charles first became widely public in 2020. At that time, Paytas criticized Charles after he defended TikTok sisters Charli D’Amelio and Dixie D’Amelio during online drama. According to Cosmopolitan, Paytas accused Charles of acting like a victim and also claimed he copied smaller creators. She wrote online, “Imagine always being the victim in every situation, James how do u do it?”Paytas also made serious accusations against Charles at the time, including claims about his behavior around younger creators. James Charles later responded in a video and denied the accusations. According to Cosmopolitan, he said, “I didn’t want to respond to this because I didn’t want to give Trisha the attention that she’s clearly craving. However, I have now been accused of being a child groomer and this is not an accusation that I’m going to take lightly.”Charles also pushed back against Paytas and accused her of repeatedly offending different communities online. According to Seventeen, he said she had “started a fight with about every single other creator on this platform.”Their feud became quiet for some time, but it returned this week after James Charles posted a TikTok video reacting to a woman who allegedly lost her job at Spirit Airlines and asked for help through a GoFundMe campaign. In the now-deleted clip, Charles mocked the woman and called her “lazy,” which led to heavy criticism across social media platforms.During her Just Trish podcast episode, Trisha Paytas strongly criticized the influencer for the video. She said, “I hate James Charles…I actually do. I actually despise him more than any other creator. Number one enemy of the show.”Paytas also said she was upset by the way Charles publicly reacted to someone asking for help online. She explained that while he could have ignored the message privately, publicly mocking the woman made the situation worse. Paytas said, “Now, it’s just this person who lost their job and you belittling them, mocking them. That’s so insane.”She continued by saying, “Like we saw how cruel you are to someone who is asking for help, like last resort, just looking for a hand.”As of now, James Charles has not publicly responded to Trisha Paytas’ latest comments. However, the online reaction has continued growing, with many social media users debating whether influencers should use their platforms more responsibly when responding to everyday people facing financial struggles.
