Hag Al Leila is a time of storytelling, community sharing and preparing for the upcoming Ramadan season with sweets and gatherings. It then continues throughout Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar that is marked by a period of fasting, reflection, charity and prayer and culminates in the Eid celebrations, which are marked by family reunions, feasts and joyful festivities.
