FBI director Kash Patel on Friday said that a “potential terrorist attack” planned to rock Michigan over the Halloween weekend was thwarted. In a post on X, Patel added that multiple subjects were arrested who were allegedly planning a violent attack. “This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel said in a post on X.”Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7 and crushing our mission to defend the homeland,” he added. He added that further details about the alleged plot will be shared soon. The police department in Dearborn, in a post on Facebook, said that the FBI had conducted operations in the city early Friday.”We want to assure our residents that there is no threat to the community at this time,” it said.
