In a major move to slice through red tape, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) has officially activated an automatic recognition system for degrees from 34 selected universities. This initiative is a centerpiece of the nation’s “Zero Government Bureaucracy” program, aimed at making life easier for residents.For the first time, tens of thousands of students can transition from their final exams to their first job without the headache of manual verification. Since its launch, the program has already processed over 25,000 graduates, proving that the future of UAE education is digital, fast, and entirely paperless.

How does the Automatic Recognition System work?
Under this new system:

MoHESR says that the digital tools for verification help ensure data reliability and make it easier for both graduates and authorities to confirm recognised qualifications quickly.The system also supports recognition of qualifications obtained outside the UAE, offering electronic verification and digital reports that help relevant authorities verify foreign degrees.

The first phase of this rollout covers a comprehensive mix of federal, public, and high-profile private institutions across the Emirates. If you graduate from one of these institutions, your degree is essentially “born recognized” in the eyes of the government.
