Tyson “TenZ” Ngo shuts down cheating claims involving Kyedae Shymko and John Choi

In his first response, Tyson Ngo made it clear that the rumors upset him. He said people were spreading made-up stories and pushing anger online without knowing the truth. TenZ wrote that John Choi is a friend to both him and Kyedae Shymko. He explained that the trip being discussed was one he was meant to attend but had to cancel at the last minute. He also said another close friend was present, but that person was cut out of shared photos to change the story.TenZ said people should stop guessing about relationships they are not part of. He added that pushing hate online often comes from personal insecurity, not facts. He then cleared up a second rumor. TenZ said he never donated bone marrow to Kyedae and does not know how that story even started. He questioned whether people were sharing these claims just to upset others and gain attention online.Later that day, TenZ posted again, saying competitive gaming helped him build thick skin. He wrote that years in esports made him less affected by internet hate. He also joked that people interacting with his post were helping him earn platform revenue.
