South Carolina judge's one-word reaction amid conspiracy theories as her $1.5-million beach house destroyed in explosion

South Carolina judge Diane Goodstein breaks silence after her $1.5 million beach house burned down to the ground, month after she blocked Trump administration in a ruling.

South Carolina judge Diane Goodstein broke her silence after her $1.5 million Edisto Beach house burned to the ground during the weekend. A huge fire broke out at her beach house Saturday when she was away, walking on the beach. Her husband, for,er Democrat state senator Arnold Goodstein was inside the house, he had to jump from a first-floor window to escape the fire, which was nothing like a kitchen fire but an inferno and that finally destroyed the entire house. The husband suffered multiple broken bones and their son Arnold Goodstein III was rushed to the hospital. Conspiracy theorists do not hold themselves back and openly suggested that the fire must have been started by MAGA because Goldstein prevented Donald Trump’s Department of Justice from handing over the personal data of 3.3 million South Carolinian voters. The administration sought data, including driver’s license numbers and the last four digits of social security numbers — to arrest illegal immigrants.Following the ruling, Goodstein received multiple death threats and the ruling was later overturned when South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster filed an emergency petition to the state’s Supreme Court.Amid controversies and theories, Judge Goodstein broke her silence and told the media that she was alright. For further questions on the fire, she did not entertain theories and said she would be happy to direct the media to a court administrator.

Was it an explosion? Was it arson?

Investigations into the cause of the blaze by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are ongoing and they have yet to rule out arson. St. Paul’s Fire District described the challenge of tackling the fire and the rescue effort in a post on Facebook. “This area is located on a barrier island with significant challenges such as limited water supply and tight areas,” the statement said.“The first arriving crews worked flawlessly together to ensure the safety of the occupants which escaped via jumping from and elevated first floor. Due to the remoteness and layout of the lot, the occupants had to be rescued from the backyard via kayaks and brought to Colleton County EMS where they received medical aid.“Your SPFD prides itself on producing adequate water supply in remote areas and delivery the best possible service to all of its citizens and surrounding neighborhoods. Strong work by all.”

Doxxing by MAGA world

Rep Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) called the fire a result of MAGA doxxing and asked whether Trump would speak on this. “Trump, @StephenM and MAGA-world have been doxxing and threatening judges who rule against Trump, including Judge Goodstein.Today, someone committed arson on the Judge’s home, severely injuring her husband and son. Will Trump speak out against the extreme right that did this??” he wrote. Stephen Miller responded to the arson allegation and said it’s vile to conclude that. “You are vile. Deeply warped and vile,” Miller said of Goldman during a Fox News interview. “While the Trump Administration has launched the first-ever government-wide effort to combat and prosecute illegal doxing, sinister threats and political violence, you continue to push despicable lies, demented smears, malicious defamation and foment unrest.”
