King Khalid and Al-Baha Universities have suspended all in person classes on Monday (today) due to severe weather warnings from the National Center for Meteorology. Both universities will shift to online learning through the Blackboard system to keep students and staff safe while continuing their studies.According to AJEL.SA, King Khalid University suspended classes at its main campus and affiliated colleges across the governorates, citing hazardous weather conditions reported by the National Center for Meteorology. The university will conduct lessons remotely via the Blackboard platform to ensure the academic schedule continues without interruption.Al-Baha University also suspended on campus classes for all students across its campuses and will deliver lessons online through its Blackboard platform, Rafid. University officials stressed that the move protects the community while maintaining the continuity of education.Both universities are closely monitoring the weather and will provide updates if conditions change. Students and staff are advised to follow official university communications for further instructions regarding schedules or campus access.
