‘Risking lives for distraction’: Deployed US service military member’s wife criticizes Iran strikes

The wife of a US active military member currently deployed in the Middle East said the Trump administration’s strikes on Iran felt like a dangerous distraction. The wife, Kendall Brown, appeared on “TMZ Live” and said more American service members were speaking out than ever before, with many echoing the same thought that this had less to do with protecting Americans and more to do with deflecting from issues in the United States. Brown said living with the uncertainty was brutal and that every ring of the doorbell sparked fear that it could be devastating news. She said, “He’s also not happy. And I will say, more than any other decision that any Commander in chief has made in his entirety, being in the military, more service members are being vocally upset about this than we’ve ever seen before.””But it is very obvious to a lot of service members and a lot of military families that this has nothing to do with protecting Americans. This has everything to do with distracting from this administration’s dismal performance at home. And what we aren’t okay with, what my husband isn’t okay with, is risking their lives to serve that distraction,” he added.
