Brandon Tatum spoke out after a deadly ICE operation in Minneapolis left Renee Nicole Good, 37, dead on January 7, 2026. In a video clip from The Officer Tatum Show, the YouTuber and conservative commentator defended the ICE agent who fired shots during the incident. The shooting happened during a federal operation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, agents said Good used her car in a dangerous way while trying to leave the scene. The agency said an officer fired because he feared for his life and the safety of others. The case quickly spread online. Videos shared on social media show an ICE agent firing three shots as Good tried to drive away. After the shots, her car hit another parked vehicle. Authorities said her family was told about her death later that morning. The incident sparked strong reactions, with public figures weighing in and officials defending the actions of the agent involved.

Brandon Tatum reacts as ICE, DHS, and Donald Trump defend the agent after Renee Nicole Good’s death

After the videos spread, Brandon Tatum shared his view in a clip posted on X from The Officer Tatum Show. He said the outcome was a result of breaking the law during a federal operation. In his post, Tatum wrote:“You block traffic, obstruct ICE, ram an agent with your car, and then act shocked when it ends bad? This ain’t protesting, it’s criminal stupidity. ICE isn’t out here playing games; they’re executing lawful arrests with warrants.”He added another message in the same clip:“You don’t get to pull your car sideways, break traffic laws, interfere with a federal operation, and pretend you’re an activist. That’s not bravery, that’s delusion. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. This isn’t a game, real life has real consequences. Was it worth it? NO.”Federal officials echoed similar claims. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said in a public statement that officers were conducting targeted operations when people blocked them. The department alleged that one person “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them.” DHS said the officer fired “defensive shots” and followed training.During a press conference, Kristi Noem said the agent acted to protect himself and others. She stated the officer “took actions to defend himself and his fellow law enforcement officers.”According to the BBC, ICE agents approached Good in an unmarked car and ordered her to get out. When she tried to drive away, an agent opened fire. Donald Trump later commented on Truth Social, calling Good a “professional agitator” and saying the agent acted in self-defense.Renee Nicole Good’s family pushed back. Her mother, Donna Ganger, told the Minnesota Star Tribune that her daughter was “one of the kindest people” she knew and said she was not involved in organized protests. Good lived nearby and described herself online as a writer and poet. Also Read: “How Fake These People Are”: Brandon Tatum Blasts Megyn Kelly Over Caution On Trump’s Venezuela Comments And US Action
