‘Kind’ Donald Trump pauses speech to check on woman’s eye surgery; internet reacts — watch

US President Donald Trump paused his remarks in mid-sentence to take an update about a woman’s eye, and it is making the internet go aww. On Monday morning, the president hosted angel families — those who have lost loved ones at the hands of illegal immigrants — in the White House to honor their losses. While talking about the event, Trump stopped in mid and asked about her headlth. After she said she is fine, Trump said, ““I gave her money to get her eyes fixed,” and clarified to the rest of the audience. “Lot of money to get her eyes fixed. That doctor ripped me off, but that’s OK.”When Trump asked when she was schedule to get her operation, the woman explained that the plan was to have it done Wednesday.“Good!” Trump responded. “You’re gonna have 20/20 vision! She’s almost blind — cataracts. She’s almost blind, and with one operation that’ll take a very short period of time — hope you have a good doctor. He’s an expensive doctor. Top of the line, right? But you know what? You’re gonna have 20/20 vision. Because I noticed you’re wearing glasses. I saw you yesterday on television wearing glasses and I said, ‘Wow.’” This conversation made internet goes crazy. People are calling him kind and charming. One of the users said, “In the time it takes most leaders to form a committee, Trump restores sight with his own wallet and a word of encouragement. This hands on compassion is why he connects so deeply with everyday Americans.”Another comment read: “President Trump, like his father, is a kind and charitable man. He’s given to so many people and communities without recognition for it! He has donated his presidential salary, in BOTH terms, to various charities. I love this man and his family. We will never see another President like this in the WH again.””When you do something nice for someone you don’t brag about it unless you’re a jerk,” one person criticised on X.
