Conservative commentator Nick Sortor claimed that Vice President JD Vance made an unplanned return to Washington DC Saturay as President Donald Trump called an emergency meeting of his national security team to deliberate on Iran. Nick Sorter also cited a Fox News report claiming that Trump held a ‘breakthrough’ call with Middle Eastern leaders on Iran.The Washington Times reported that the US and Iran are expected to announce the finalization of a draft proposal of a peace deal by Sunday afternoon. Top negotiators, including Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalifbaf, Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, have approved the draft, the report said. “Just in the last 24 hours: Trump skips his own son’s wedding. JD Vance + Hegseth race back to the White House. Chief of Staff posting videos of B-2 bombers,” Conservative content creator Van Swol wrote. “Something MASSIVE must be about to happen. What is going on??!!!!”President Trump earlier announced that he would have to skip his son Donald Trump Jr’s wedding to Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson in the Bahamas. “I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, DC, at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!” Trump said on Truth Social. While this raised eyebrows, reports claim that Don and Anderson are already married as a marriage certificate filed in Palm Beach County revealed that they legally tied the knot Thursday. The Bahamas ceremony is only for close friends and family though Bettina Anderson wanted a White House wedding.Trump has been married before, to Vanessa Trump, who announced this week that she is battling breast cancer. Trump Jr and Vanessa Trump remained close after their divorce, celebrating daughter Kai ahead of her senior prom, at a 19th birthday party, and at her graduation in recent days. Kai and along with Don’s other children, were scheduled to attend the Bahamas wedding.
