High school outrage erupts after Twitch streamer films explicit game show inside campus gym without student awareness

A Southern California high school gym became the site of a controversial 24-hour Twitch livestream featuring adult-content creators and NSFW challenges. Students were shocked to discover the event, sponsored by Fansly, after clips went viral. School officials are investigating, citing a failure in oversight, while the streamer claims compliance with agreements, sparking debate on accountability.

What was supposed to be an ordinary high school gym, a place for basketball games, pep rallies, and school pride, has become the center of a growing controversy in Southern California. Students at Canyon Crest Academy say they were blindsided after discovering their campus gym was used to film a 24-hour Twitch livestream featuring adult-content creators and NSFW challenges. The backlash unfolded only after clips from the event went viral, with students recognizing their school’s logo and familiar gym layout online. As frustration mounts, the incident has ignited broader questions about oversight, accountability, and how far livestream culture has pushed into real-world spaces not meant for it.

Students, school leaders, and the streamer clash over responsibility and disclosure

The livestream, hosted by popular Twitch personality PayMoneyWubby, took place inside Canyon Crest Academy’s gym and was sponsored by Fansly, a platform associated with adult content. Students say they were unaware the event even happened until viral clips began circulating online. “It feels nasty. It’s gross. I’m astonished,” student Giordano Bruno told NBC San Diego. “I can’t believe my school would let a bunch of basically semi, like, porn stars come to the school and film on my campus.” Others described shock at the content shown during the event. Student Parker Jaconette recalled stumbling onto the stream out of curiosity. “The first thing I see is a full-grown adult, an adult man wearing a baby costume and being fed milk from a baby bottle. I was like, okay that’s kind of weird,” he said. “We check on it again a couple hours later, and there’s another dude who’s eating chocolate off of the feet of not-safe-for-work content creators or adult film content creators.”For athletes using the gym days later, the discomfort lingered. Brian Cheng said the incident affected how students now view their school. “We’re known for, like, studying and academics, not really like this OnlyFans stuff,” he said. “I want them to, like, renovate every single inch of the gym, make sure, like, every inch is cleaned. I don’t want to even walk on that.”School officials moved quickly to distance themselves. Principal Brett Killeen labeled the production “inappropriate, distasteful, and in conflict with our organization’s core values,” adding the district is consulting legal counsel and tightening facility-use policies. The Canyon Crest Academy Foundation, which approved the rental, admitted failures in oversight, saying the production was presented as “PG-13 content.” Meanwhile, PayMoneyWubby disputed claims of wrongdoing. “We had a wonderful and very successful event that fully complied with our contractual agreements,” he said, citing potential litigation. As the fallout continues, the incident has become a cautionary example of how digital entertainment, when unchecked, can collide sharply with community standards, especially in spaces meant for students. Also Read: “I’m ugly”: Ironmouse blasts invasive question about her real-life appearance, says Streamer Awards moment left her shakens Go to Source
