Candace Owens’ war with TPUSA leadership turns personal after Tyler Bowyer’s divorce jab

Candace Owens’ war with TPUSA leadership turns personal after Tyler Bowyer’s divorce jab

Candace Owens’ public rift with Turning Point USA has escalated following Charlie Kirk’s death, morphing into personal attacks. A sharp exchange between Owens and TPUSA COO Tyler Bowyer, involving accusations of infidelity, highlights the deep divisions. Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow and new TPUSA CEO, has urged Owens to stop her controversial theories about the assassination.

Candace Owens’ public rift with Turning Point USA has entered a more volatile phase, as ideological disagreements following Charlie Kirk’s death continue to morph into personal and highly public confrontations. Once closely aligned with TPUSA, Owens has increasingly challenged the organization’s leadership while promoting controversial theories about Kirk’s assassination. This week, the conflict escalated after a sharp exchange with TPUSA chief operating officer Tyler Bowyer, highlighting how fractured relationships inside conservative media circles have become. What initially centered on disagreements over evidence, transparency, and grief has now spilled into social media clashes that underscore the emotional and political strain surrounding one of the movement’s most shocking losses in recent years.

Charlie Kirk Killing Firestorm: Owens Goes To War With TPUSA; Live Showdown Confirmed

How a social media exchange turned an internal dispute into a public spectacle

The latest flare-up began when Tyler Bowyer responded to Owens’ continued claims that innocent individuals close to Charlie Kirk could be implicated in his killing. In a December 12 post on X, Bowyer wrote, “If my wife was posting about how innocent people who were friends, family or the spouse of Charlie Kirk murdered Charlie Kirk, I would skip counselling and head straight for the divorce lawyer’s office.” Owens fired back almost immediately, quoting Bowyer’s post and replying, “You and your wife are swingers, Tyler.” The exchange marked a clear shift from policy and principle to personal accusation, drawing widespread attention across political media. Owens has been vocal since Kirk was fatally shot in September while speaking at a TPUSA event at Utah Valley University, advancing multiple theories that have implicated Israel, the U.S. military, and TPUSA leadership itself. She has defended her stance as questioning power, not exploiting tragedy. The feud has also drawn in Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow and newly appointed CEO of TPUSA. During a CBS interview, Erika Kirk addressed Owens’ claims directly, saying, “Stop. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop.” Owens responded on her podcast, pushing back against accusations that she was spreading lies or building her brand off the tragedy. She argued that criticism of her questions amounts to silencing dissent, adding that she rejects what she views as emotional manipulation tied to Erika Kirk’s public role as a widow. With Erika Kirk’s full interview set to air soon, the dispute shows no signs of cooling. Instead, it reflects a broader breakdown of trust inside conservative activism, where grief, loyalty, and power now collide openly in the public eye. Also Read: Candace Owens intensifies controversy with new claims dragging Charlie Kirk’s security provider in new assassination claims Go to Source
