Twitch and Kick streamer Felix “xQc” has once again stirred major controversy online after making harsh comments about VTubers during a recent livestream. A short 43-second clip from his latest Just Chatting broadcast spread quickly on X. In the clip, xQc reacted to creator TheBurntPeanut’s message denying that his community had harassed VTuber Ironmouse. When the former Overwatch pro paused the video, he launched into a rant about why VTubers use avatars instead of showing themselves on camera.According to xQc, many VTubers avoid face cams because they are “f**king disgusting”. He doubled down by saying he was not discriminating and insisted that “the vast majority” of VTubers actually want to be on camera but choose avatars as an excuse. His comments immediately went viral as fans and VTuber community members criticized the streamer on X, accusing him of being disrespectful and bitter.

xQc doubles down on “VTubers are f**king disgusting” remarks, calls VTubers ‘elitist weirdos’

During the clip, xQc was seen openly bashing VTubers. He said, “Let’s be honest, most VTubers use VTubing as an excuse not to show themselves because they are fking disgusting. I’m not being weird. I’m not discriminating. The vast majority of VTubers would love to be on camera, but they’re fking disgusting! And that’s okay. It’s like, ‘Hey, that’s perfectly fine.’ But it’s… come on, bro! You know what I mean?”Social media users reacted strongly on his comments. One X user wrote, “Lmao xQc is still fried from getting stomped by Doki.” Another added, “Oh no. The strong and brave gambling streamer with a fragile ego is talking about virtues.”A third comment read, “well it the other way around most of them are pretty, the reason why they don’t want to show there face is to have privacy and not getting people stalker them if they know who they are.”The criticism grew after another clip resurfaced from a few days ago showing xQc escalating his statements while discussing TheBurntPeanut’s Streamer Awards win. He claimed, “I’m going to speak for him because he says that because everybody who’s a VTuber is a fking elitist weirdo. He doesn’t want to be associated with fking deviance, weird, dumba** behavior, bm lord, ccks on there who go, ‘Oh, no! You can’t do this! You can’t!’ He doesn’t want to be associated with y’all repulsive a**es. That’s why he says he’s not a VTuber when he knows he is! That’s how repulsive you guys are!”The backlash continues to grow as the VTuber community demands an apology from the Canadian online streamer.
