Etihad launches new summer routes across Europe and Africa, unveils limited-edition travel kit

Etihad Airways has expanded its seasonal network with the launch of new routes to Europe and Africa, while introducing a limited-edition travel kit for passengers flying on the inaugural services.The UAE’s national carrier this week begins flights to three new destinations: Krakow in Poland from June 11, Palma de Mallorca in Spain from June 12, and Zanzibar in Tanzania from June 14.In addition to the new routes, Etihad is restarting flights to several summer holiday destinations. Services to Malaga and Mykonos will resume on June 15, followed by Santorini on June 16 and Nice on June 19. Flights to Al Alamein on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast are scheduled to restart on July 16.The additions form part of the airline’s broader network expansion strategy aimed at meeting seasonal travel demand.

Passengers travelling on the inaugural flights of all eight seasonal routes will receive a specially designed Summer Essentials Kit.The kit comes in a waterproof backpack inspired by Etihad’s summer destinations and includes a waterproof phone pouch, electrolyte sachets, Al Ain flavoured sparkling water, a ginger brew drink and water wipes. According to the airline, the package has been created to help travellers stay refreshed during their journey and begin their holiday experience immediately upon arrival.Etihad said the initiative is designed to combine practicality and wellbeing, offering passengers useful travel items tailored to summer trips.The airline added that the kit draws inspiration from both coastal getaways and city-break destinations served by its seasonal network, reflecting the diverse range of locations available to travellers this summer.
