“IDF troops continue to maintain a forward defensive posture to protect the residents of northern Israel. Over the past week, our troops conducted targeted night operations in southern Lebanon, dismantling Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure,” the Israeli military wrote. According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, several Hezbollah command centres were struck from where militants allegedly operated and planned attacks against Israel and its civilians. In a statement issued, the IDF alleged that Hezbollah embeds its infrastructure within civilian areas across Lebanon, calling it a tactic that endangers civilians, according to state media Israel National News. “Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to minimize the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings, the use of precision munitions, and aerial surveillance,” the IDF said.“The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization following its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime. The IDF will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel,” the statement added.Earlier, the IDF said that overnight operations carried out by its air force had eliminated Ali Muslim Tabaja, a commander linked to the Imam Hossein Division. The IDF also said that it eliminated the commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in southern Lebanon.According to the military, more than 100 militants have been killed so far, while over 60 Radwan Force command and control centres have been dismantled during the ongoing operations.
