'Disgusting': Pastor slammed for revealing his late-night phone call with Barron Trump; 'Very close to putting his faith in Christ'

TikTok-famous pastor Stuart Knechtle has been called out on social media for casually revealing his late-night talk with President Donald Trump’s 19-year-old son Barron Trump. Knechtle not only revealed about a phone call but also let the audience of the podcast know that Barron Trump is very close to embracing Christ. Knechtle said he told Baron — on the late-night phone call — the story of his friend in Africa who allegedly witnessed thousands of Muslims coming to Christ through dreams and revelations. “I thought I was hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink when it came to all the evidence for God and Christianity,” said Knechtle. “I thought I was really on. I was pumped,” he said, adding that Barron was not convinced before he told him the story.

“How do you explain that?” Knechtle said he asked Barron after narrating the friend’s story in Africa. “Oh, that’s a very, very interesting point. And you have eyewitness testimony,” Barron apparently told Knechtle who believed that story really resonated with Barron. He then revealed that Barron is “very close to putting his faith in Christ. “I pray that goes through,” host George Janko responded on the podcast, to which Knechtle said: “Yeah, exactly. That would be huge.””I think it’s pretty tasteless for a pastor to reveal a private conversation with someone they’re counseling, especially when that person is Barron Trump, the son of the President of the United States,” a social media comment said. “This thing where people now release the contents of private conversations is disgusting, they are private conversations or private messages and they should stay private unless both parties consent for information to be released,” another wrote. “Rev. Billy Graham never talked about his private conversations with the many famous people he counseled,” another added. President Donald Trump was confirmed into the Presbyterian Church as a child, in line with his Scottish mother’s faith, but revealed in 2020 that he now considers himself to be a nondenominational Christian. Barron’s mother First Lady Melania Trump is a Catholic.
