Laura Loomer has claimed that she played a key role in changing Alex Jones’ view on Candace Owens after her recent claims about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Loomer said Jones has now “seen the light” and understands what she described as Owens’ “malicious and insane” behavior. The comments came after Alex Jones publicly pushed back against Candace Owens during a December 22, 2025 episode of InfoWars. Jones questioned Owens’ claims about Kirk’s death and said she was accusing innocent people without proof.Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed in Utah on September 10, 2025. Since then, Candace Owens, who previously worked with Turning Point USA, has shared several theories about the killing. These included claims that the United States, Egypt, and France were involved, according to CNN. Owens also said Kirk was “betrayed” by Turning Point USA leadership. She has not shared confirmed evidence to support these claims. Tension grew after Owens said an eyewitness told her he saw Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk, and security head Brian Harpole at Fort Huachuca in Arizona just hours before the shooting. That claim sparked strong reactions across conservative media.

Laura Loomer says private talk led Alex Jones to reject Candace Owens’ claims

On December 24, 2025, Laura Loomer quote-tweeted one of Alex Jones’ posts on X and said she helped change his views after a long private talk.“I’m proud to say that I am responsible for @RealAlexJones seeing the light as it pertains to how malicious and insane @RealCandaceO has become,” Loomer wrote.“A couple weeks ago, Alex Jones and I had a very long private conversation about some bad actors in the woke right and Alex told me he was starting to come around to what I have been saying for the last 2 years. Eventually more people will wake up to this psyop.”Earlier, during her December 19 podcast episode, Candace Owens interviewed a man named Mitch, who said he was an eyewitness. Mitch claimed he saw Erika Kirk and Brian Harpole at Fort Huachuca before the killing. He said he recognized Erika Kirk from photos and was “95 to 99 per cent” sure it was her.“I don’t know these people from TPUSA,” Mitch said.“But once I saw a picture of somebody in a ponytail with those eyes, that was that person.”Alex Jones later challenged Mitch’s story on InfoWars. Jones said Brian Harpole shared flight records showing he was in Dallas around the time Mitch claimed he was in Arizona.Jones also reposted a video on X that accused Mitch of making up the story. In one post, Jones wrote that Owens was accusing “innocent people with ironclad alibis of being in a conspiracy against Charlie Kirk’s life.”Candace Owens responded on X on December 22, saying the flight records did not prove an alibi.“I already had Brian Harpole’s flights and confirmed to my audience that they DO NOT provide an alibi for 7:30am,” Owens wrote.“I also texted Brian Harpole and offered him a chance to give me any response.”As of now, Erika Kirk has not responded publicly. She and Owens reportedly met for a 4.5-hour discussion on December 15, 2025. After the meeting, Erika Kirk wrote on X that it was “a very productive conversation.”Also Read: Candace Owens Attacks TPUSA Again After Private Erika Kirk Meeting And Backs Tim Dillon’s Blunt Criticism
