Twitch and Kick streamer Zack “Asmongold” recently weighed in on se*ual assault allegations involving fellow creator Tylil James. The situation escalated after a clip from Asmongold’s Just Chatting livestream began circulating on X, which became a center of attention for fans. In the clip, Asmongold voiced strong support for James, who has denied allegations made by singer and content creator Jourdin Pauline. The controversy traces back to claims made by Pauline, who accused James of se*ual assault following an interaction at The Streamer Awards 2025 party. James has firmly rejected the accusation, stating that he was instead subjected to extortion. According to him, Pauline demanded $2,000 after the encounter, which he says crossed a legal line. Asmongold called this out and called Pauline’s act unethical.

Pauline responds forcefully as Asmongold offers legal help to James

Reacting to James’ denial, Asmongold’s stance on the matter was made known directly without any hesitation. He said, “‘Isn’t extortion an actual crime? You think she’ll get jail time?’ I think she should. I don’t think she will. Yeah, I don’t think so at all. And, yeah, so you know, I got absolute total support for Tylil after seeing this. I do. Like, this is absolutely disgusting.” He went further by wanting to offer any legal help if necessary, adding, “I mean, unfortunately, I’m fully aware of, you know, defamation lawyers or anybody like that. So, if he needs a referral, I know plenty of guys, and I have plenty of guys that know plenty of guys.” On the other hand, Pauline did not stay silent on the matter. In a series of emotional X posts, some later deleted, she rejected James’ version of events and doubled down on her claims. She insisted that the $2,000 demand was compensation for a phone she alleges James broke. Her post read, “The police got ALL the details, so stay tuned. He’s still a ra*ist … God always has the final say he seen and heard it all & he don’t play about me ! 2k to pay for my phone that you broke!!!!” She reiterated the fact that her claims are true and that James should go to jail for it. As of now, James has not replied publicly to Pauline’s latest statements. With no official legal resolution yet, the situation is still fresh, and it can prove to be incredibly damaging for James if the claims turn out to be true and it reaches the courts.
