Use earphones on planes or face action

NEW DELHI: Next time you play music on an aircraft without using earphones, you may face penal action.Minister of state for civil aviation Murlidhar Mohol told Lok Sabha DGCA has issued provisions under Aircraft Rules, 1937 to deal with unruly passengers. Any disruptive behaviour on board that disturbs order or causes discomfort to passengers or crew can attract action. Mohol clarified aircraft rules restrict photography at aerodromes and from aircraft in flight unless prior written permission is obtained. The response came to a question by MP V S Matheswaran seeking information on action taken by govt against such unruly passengers, details of DGCA guidelines, and whether bloggers can make video blogs during flights. tnn
